Our Virtual Holland islands lined up
Although it was already visible on the Second Life map a few days ago, I still wanted to show it off on this blog. Just because we have been anticipating the final form of the ING islands cluster for so long now. So 13 islands was the (current) target all along. Just a week ago only the 5 islands at the bottom were visible.
As you can see on the image, there appears to be a central role for the island featuring a “miniature” version of the Netherlands. If you visit that central island, you can find out what that role exactly is (I do not want to spoil things here).
All residents on on VirtualHolland3 are very busy building and decorating their creations, homes or stores. It really is a great community, which is expected to be expanding the next few weeks with the entrance of new winners of the remaining plots. *By the way you can still send in a proposal for your venture in Second Life!*
We all look forward to the grand opening on the 30st of April, Queens Day in the Netherlands.
