ING's Our Virtual Holland under construction

A quick glance at the Second Life map tonight, revealed some interesting shapes on the two islands being developed by ING at this moment (see OurVirtualHolland.com). See also this previous article.

The SLurl to Virtual Holland.

I must be just some concepts available for presentation, because the left island shaped in the form of the Netherlands appears way to small to be functional in terms of buiding some seizable structures. Next to that, the small islands on the left are way out of position, when compared to the real life situation.

The right island seems to look like the landscapes that are often found in so called “Polders”, green farm country with a substantial presence of waterways.

Let’s wait and see what comes next.

(Disclaimer: I am employed with a subsidiary of ING Group)
