Rocketboom has landed
This show was actually my introduction to videoblogging. And I loved it. Viewed a lot of episodes on my PDA during my daily commute. After a while I became interested in other things as well and the attention faded a bit. But still, now and again I passed by and enjoyed it’s three to four minutes of show.
But now I read the news that Amanda is leaving the Rocketboom, apparently because of some conflict with co-founder Andrew Baron.
The blogosphere has exploded on the news. The general feeling I pick up is that Rocketboom is over now. Apparently the value was for the majority attached to the vivid, witty and last not but least attractive host of the show.
Well I do not know who Andrew has lining up as a replacement, but I am afraid the show will not become as popular as it has been: more than 250.000 views per day.
