The Biddies at your party?
Just received an e-mail from the Lascivious Biddies, that nice “all female cocktail pop quartet based in New York City”.
I have been playing their Get Lucky CD for 5 months now and I must say I really like the music. On the Biddies web site you can download some samples and even three full songs to get a taste of their style. My personal favourites are “Intellectual” en “Neighbor”.
Ok, but now back to their e-mail. It contained a new offer:
A Biddy Wedding can begin with a set of cocktail music. Amanda, Saskia and Deidre play some of your favorite jazz tunes and Biddy tunes instrumentally, punctuated with a few mellow vocal numbers including Lee Ann’s singing.
Afterwards, the ladies turn it up a bit with medium-swing and latin tunes for dancing, including a few more of their own original hits.
Later in the night, they will let it all hang out in a terriffically fun and upbeat set of signature Biddies’ tunes!
Look’s good to me. Too bad my wedding party was 9 years ago.
